Bamboo Pervariabilis

Rancho Tissue Technologies (RTT), a plant-tissue culture facility serving the horticulture industry, is now offering tissue-cultured Bamboo pervariablis for sale.

Bamboo pervariablis is a cold-hardy, fast-growing bamboo. Preferring full sun, this clumping bamboo variety will tolerate shady conditions. With a medium-green foliage, this bamboo is ideal for use as a screen or hedge.

“We are excited to offer this variety to our current and new customers,” says Heather May, president of RTT. “It’s truly a big occasion for us to have succeeded with a bamboo from tissue culture. Now with Bamboo pervariablis under our belts, we will have other bamboo varieties coming through the pipeline shortly,” May continues.
