Susana Vanzie-Canton, managing director of Rancho Tissue Technologies (RTT), will be a featured speaker at the International Plant Propagators’ Society’s (IPPS) 50th Anniversary Western Meeting and Tour.
“Susana’s unique background and breadth of experience give her a unique perspective to share with attendees,” says Heather May, founder and owner. “We’re honored that she was asked to join the world’s premiere horticulturists as part of IPPS’ program.”

Vanzie-Canton joined RTT as a researcher valued for her extensive experience in tissue culture, including developing plant tissue culture protocols and mutation induction protocols for several plant species. She was promoted to managing director earlier this year.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in horticulture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu.
