🌟 Yucca ‘Mellow Yellow’

Family: Asparagaceae (Agavoideae)
Common Name: Mellow Yellow Yucca
Origin: Garden cultivar; likely a variegated selection of Yucca gloriosa or related hybrid
Production: Propagated via tissue culture at Rancho Tissue Technologies for year-round availability and genetic consistency

Description:

Yucca ‘Mellow Yellow’ is a vibrant, variegated selection grown for its golden-yellow and lime green sword-like foliage, offering unmatched brightness and color saturation in the landscape. The leaves are broad, arching, and gently recurved, giving the plant a softer and more tropical texture than most rigid yucca species.

Maturing into a dense clump 3–4 feet tall and wide, it remains trunkless and full-bodied. In summer, mature plants may send up tall flower spikes with creamy white blooms, providing contrast to the foliage and attracting pollinators.
