Agave salmiana ‘Mr. Ripple’
Family: Asparagaceae
Common Name: Mr. Ripple Century Plant
Origin: Hybrid selection of Mexican origin
Description:
Bold and commanding, *Agave salmiana* ‘Mr. Ripple’ earns its name from the striking waves along its massive, dark blue-green leaves. Each leaf is heavily armed with spines and undulates with dramatic curvature, giving the plant a sculptural presence in any landscape.
This fast-growing giant can reach up to 6–8 feet tall and 10 feet wide, often producing offsets at the base. Its towering flower spike can surpass 20 feet but only appears once in its lifetime, after which the plant dies—leaving behind a legacy of pups.
